A long long time ago, I had a website. Now long since eaten by the ad bots.
There was a lot on the original Icecheetahslair, but one thing I remember always intending to do was a rant page.
They were a thing back then. I enjoyed reading people's rant pages on their personal websites. Then Livejournal happened and those kinda stopped happening and now Livejournal is hell.
(Seriously, I remember a website having a link to the owner's livejournal in their rant page, and the link said that Livejournal was taking over.)
Not that I ever used it for making rants.
I remember drafting out rants for my website in horrible handwriting and then never actually uploading them.
And boy am I glad that I never actually published the them. Like, typical story. I was younger and less knowlegeable... and from what I recall even transphobic (Hi past me! You're trans). And then dreamwidth and then tumblr, only one of which I used for anything like one(1) ramble.
And now full circle on a social media of personal websites, maybe now I will finally do the thing.
Or maybe not. Who knows what I think now future me would be glad I was to lazy/busy with other things to rant about?
